WEA-PAC is the way WEA members recommend, support and elect pro-education candidates. Our 2009 WEA-PAC survey showed that 90% of members see WEA-PAC as "very important" to supporting pro-ed candidates (see the survey results here.) Our statewide goal is 33,000 WEA-PAC members, based on local and council goals you set at the 2009 general membership meeting in Spokane. If you don’t like what happened in Olympia this year, then join WEA-PAC! In 2010, we need to elect candidates who truly are pro-education.
