Health care takeover bill is up for a vote Wednesday

The K-12 health care takeover bill, Senate Bill 6442, is up for a possible vote in the Senate Ways and Means Committee Wednesday, Feb. 22. In its current form, SB 6442 will cost taxpayers $45 million while increasing the size of state government, increasing employee costs, reducing benefits and eliminating competition. The bill could be amended. Take action to protect K-12 health care by emailing your legislators.
